Catching up with Oliver

First missing tooth 3-26-2009.
At Christmas time Oliver received several wonderful gifts from his kindergarten teacher, whom we love. Among the gifts was this cute silhouette of Oliver that I loved, until Ryan said it looks like Mikey from Goonies. Now it makes me laugh every time I see it.

Oliver is fascinated by VOLCANOES and EARTHQUAKES. Hopefully this is as close as he gets to a real live volcano, unless he serves his mission in Ecuador.

Oliver made this "bird treat" at Christmas time, but we saved it until it warmed up. It has been swinging outside our window for weeks now, and it finally received visitors. Two at once, the cardinal was shy of the camera (we think that's a cardinal).

If only life was this simple. Oliver was to complete this sentence, One thing our President can do to make our country a better place . . . . . . If you can't see his answer, this is what he dictated to me, "to help people by telling them not to run in the street." His close call with a car last summer still must haunt him a little (as it does me).

It looks like Oliver is following his Mom in the art department. We'll know for sure if he is still drawing stick figures in high school.

Bag Lady

Penelepe loves to carry around all sorts of bags or something that will hold anything, like baskets, purses, or an Altoids container. She constantly has at least one of her bags with her, if not more. What does she carry around? Pure randomness . . . . . .

Man of the Hour

One year older and wiser too. Violette helped with blowing the candles out.
Happy Birthday Honey! If anyone wants to know how old Ryan is - you can ask Oliver. He loves to tell people our ages for some reason, he even told the checker at the store the other day his Dad's age. Even though I'd rather have Oliver telling our ages than Penelepe. Penelepe told me I was a 1000 years old the other day.
Look how excited Violette is for her Dad! Could her eyes be any bigger?
Ryan you can be mad all you want - but I'm still putting this picture on "the blog". The artwork above was custom made for me by Ryan. I knew what I wanted for artwork, but I can't paint or draw, so Ryan painted exactly what I wanted. He'll be mad that I put this on, and he has told me several times not to tell anyone he did them, but the kids tell everyone who visits that their Dad painted them, so honestly honey everyone already knows. Anybody else have an artwork order for him?
We Love You
